This data is supported by insurance reports of compensable claims that involve serious injuries to employees in different types of workshops. In some of these cases, employees are hurt so much that they either take leave to recover or change jobs. In worse cases, workers become permanently disabled. The seven main types of injuries reported in the employees getting caught between machines or machine parts, falling from elevations such as ladders, falls caused by slips, trips and flat slippery surfaces and workers getting struck by flying or moving objects
