The use of electricity in automotive repair is subject to the Electricity at Work Regulations. The three main hazards from electricity are contact with live parts, fire and explosion. Last three years in the KSA there are around 8807 incidents at work involving electric shock and/or burns, some of these are fatal. Fires started by poor electrical installations and/or faulty electrical equipment can cause many other deaths and injuries. Electrical equipment igniting flammable vapours can cause explosions
